Around a year ago, Jerome Derradji received a message from a well known record dealer out of North Carolina. He found a couple of test presses at a storage auction near Durham. In fact the two tests Daniel found were for a Lee Moore release scheduled for release on NYC’s LM Records in 1981. The 12” featured a vocal and instrumental version of the same song - Bodywork - a mean boogie down joint featuring Lee Moore’s trademark heavy bass, gritty soulful vocals and mad synths…
So here it is pressed for the first time, a lost 12” from the mighty king of Memphis Boogie Funk: Lee Moore!
